That "H" Word Again

On the car bomb guy in Times Square Joe Liberman says:

I think it's time for us to look at whether we want to amend that law to apply it to American citizens who choose to become affiliated with foreign terrorist organizations, whether they should not also be deprived automatically of their citizenship, and therefore be deprived of rights that come with that citizenship when they are apprehended and charged with a terrorist act.

Big Man wonders why it has to be "foreign terrorist organizations"?

Do the homegrown terrorist organizations practice a brand of terrorism that is less dangerous or repugnant? Have they gone "Green" or something?

Shouldn't we strip them of their citizenship as well?

Or would that impact the wrong people?

And why are we depriving folks of citizenship based on apprehension and accusation? Is "beyond a reasonable doubt" now passe?

Hypocrisy makes you stupid.

Remember that.

Lil man,

Again, can you articulate why those in FOREIGN terrorist organizations should be TREATED EQUALLY to those in DOMESTIC terror organizations (will you give a concrete example of such a person or organization)?

It is not entirely clear why you treat different things similarly other than to say that you are attempting to go easier on those in FOREIGN terrorist organizations BY AFFORDING THEM RIGHTS EXCLUSIVE TO AMERICANS.

You say you do such a thing because you don't want to be hypocritical, but you really mean that you MUST TREAT DIFFERENT THINGS "equally."

Nonsensical, illogical and irrational...

“Nonsensical, illogical and irrational...” “Really???”
Timothy McVeigh The Oklahoma City bomber claimed 168 lives, including 19 children under the age of 6, and injured more than 680 people. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 buildings within a sixteen-block radius, destroyed or burned 86 cars, and shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings. The bomb was estimated to have caused at least $652 million worth of damage.

You and I know that. We also know that the vast majority of "terroristic" acts committed on American soil were committed by white males.

We understand that Neo Nazi groups and other organizations planning the overthrow of the government and operating military style training camps in Idaho and other remote regions represent a far greater threat to the average citizen than terrorists abroad.

We understand that because we're not blind to reality.

Thor is.

Besides, a "terrorist" is a "terrorist." Joseph Stack was a terrorist. He attempted to kill multiple folks in an attempt to make a statement and incite terror.

All the little white cats arrested since Obama's election for planning to overthrow the government or bomb federal buildings have been terrorists.

Yet, nobody has called for their citizenship to be revoked.

Clearly, certain factions of American believe that somehow violence is much worse if you do your planning with a foreign group.

Doesn't make sense to me, but hey, I tend to use logic.

Lol...

Timothy McVeigh got DEATH...

How about that revocation...

Are you clowns down for the DEATH PENALTY for foreign terrorists?

You clowns are slow.

In a sort of strange way; Timothy McVeigh chose the death penality; he probably could have done want other death row inmates do, but he chose to die.

I don't have a problem with the death penalty for foreign terrorists.

Why did you assume I did?

And what does the death penalty have to do with a revocation of citizenship? Nothing.

Lil man,

If people like you wanted revocation of citizenship for domestic terrorists THEN WHY NOT CALL FOR IT???

You only POSIT IT NOW because someone else has called for the revocation of citizenship for naturalized foreigners acting as terrorists.

Again, YOU ONLY WANT "equalness," but you don't actually say why other than it's "equal."

Purely circular...

Plus, we already have laws for sedition and treason, but I have yet to meet a black liberationist down for their real application.

Hey lil man...

What's the difference between lil man and big man?

lil man: Nothing, they both man.

What's the difference between American and non-American?

lil man: Nothing, they both Americans.

What's the difference between domestic terrorists and naturalized foreign terrorists?

lil man: Nothing, they both terrorists.

See lil man it's all "equal" and you think this passes for intelligence?

YOU STILL HAVEN'T told us WHY naturalized foreign terrorists should be treated like domestic terrorists?

Something more substantive than it's "equal" is required.
