Oh my...Here we go. I'm not shocked by much, but I don't know what to say about this one. Let the "why do blacks get to ____ but white people don't" complaints begin.
Not sure what the "why" might be exactly...but being a response (warranted or not, wise or not) to some of the current racial backlash aimed at Obama (and by extension other Blacks) is quite likely.
This post had a different, and I think, healthier look at it, ie, seeing it from the eyes of our own black people, not worrying about the eyes of white people.
It begs the question, are entertainers perpetually expected to entertain with white approval in mind, or what we like? Given that they have an entire political party, the Party Of Fuck You, Niggers! and a huge variety of fixed news and "entertainment" news progamming, I don't give a rat's azz if they take it Chris Rock's skit personally. Some of them should, and they know who they are.
Ooops. Didn't know this was old. Saw the wife watching it the other day and assumed it was a new spoof of an tune that's of course been around a while.

Two questions ~ Why? And what is the message that is trying to be conveyed here?

ReplyDeleteThis is supposed to be old, like from 2004.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the reason he made it was because he had something to get off his chest.
I remember when he had his famous rant about "niggers" and "black people" and how happy that made some white folks.

ReplyDeleteIn any case, I have to agree with Kit.
